World Fighting Network Announces Launch of UK Kickboxing League

World Fighting Network (WFN) has officially announced the launch of its UK Kickboxing League, marking a major step forward in the organisation’s long-term vision for structured and consistent competition.

The WFN Kickboxing League is designed to move beyond one-off fight nights and provide fighters with a clear pathway built on activity, progression, and merit. The league will operate through a series of scheduled events, allowing fighters to compete regularly under a consistent ruleset, officiating standard, and matchmaking structure.

Unlike traditional standalone events, the league format focuses on long-term development. Fighters will be matched based on experience, performance, and availability, with the aim of creating competitive bouts that support growth over time. Rankings will be introduced and maintained by WFN to reflect activity and results across league events.

The league will initially launch across the UK, with Newcastle serving as a key base, and will welcome fighters from different gyms and backgrounds who are looking for a professionally run platform. All bouts will be conducted under WFN’s official kickboxing ruleset, with independent medical oversight and event safety standards in place.

WFN’s approach to the league is deliberately structured. The focus is on consistency, athlete safety, and clear governance rather than short-term titles or inflated records. Championship opportunities will be introduced once the league structure is established and competitive depth has been built.

Fighter Registration

Fighter registrations for the WFN Kickboxing League are now open.

Athletes interested in competing can register their details using the official registration form. Submitting the form allows WFN to review fighter experience, weight categories, and availability for upcoming league events.

The launch of the WFN Kickboxing League represents an important milestone as World Fighting Network continues to build a sustainable combat sports platform in the UK, with plans to expand internationally in the future.
